What is YEOp Shop?
Our Youth Enterprise Opportunity Shop (YEOp Shop) is THE place to hang out here in Bridgetown! Blackwood Youth Action opened the YEOp Shop to provide an ongoing stream of income to pay our amazing Youth Services Coordinator. It also funds other roles and needs as well, as all proceeds, after obligations, are delivered back to BYA.
The YEOp Shop is run by a workforce of volunteers. These awesome people make this enterprise possible! In addition to sorting, organising, stocking, serving customers, and the overall running of the shop, the volunteers have a lot of fun. It is their team effort, commitment and sense of humor that gives the YEOp Shop it’s chilled out, welcoming atmosphere.
An Opportunity for You
Have you ever dreamed of working in retail? Have you got a flair for fashion, design or organisation?
Maybe you want to develop those skills, or maybe you’re just curious about what it is like to work in an op shop and wade through mounds of second-hand treasures.
At the YEOp Shop, we offer young people the opportunity to come and gain some experience working in retail. Not only does it give you some great work experience, it is also an opportunity to laugh, connect and build friendships as you work beside our BYA’s caring volunteers.
